Qualifications & Experience Sought:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP), or eligibility
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a multidisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive screenings and evaluations of students’ speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in line with IEPs and educational goals
- Deliver direct therapy both individually and in group settings
- Monitor and track student progress, maintaining thorough and timely documentation
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school specialists
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing expertise on speech-language services and student progress
- Offer training and resources to staff and families to maximize student support
