Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active state licensure (or eligible for licensure) in Virginia
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred or CFY candidates welcome
  • Previous experience in a school setting or working with pediatrics is an asset
  • Strong communication, organization, and adaptability skills

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech/language and communication assessments for students
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Deliver direct and consultative therapeutic services within school settings
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary educational teams
  • Maintain thorough documentation and participate in IEP meetings
