A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in Norristown, PA, offering a meaningful opportunity to support elementary and middle school students. This contract role runs from ASAP through the end of the school year, with a schedule of 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language services primarily for middle school students (grades K-8).
- Assist with overflow cases in elementary grades.
- Deliver compensatory speech services for goals carried over from the previous year.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to support student progress.
- Utilize experience with IEP writing to document student needs and goals.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Active Pennsylvania license and certifications for Speech-Language Pathology.
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Clearances required to work in school environments.
- Strong collaboration skills and willingness to support diverse student needs.
- Experience in educational settings, including comfort with direct and indirect service delivery.
- Preference given to candidates able to work onsite and located near Norristown, PA.
