Step into a dynamic educational setting supporting K-8 students as a Speech-Language Pathologist for the school year, ESY, and the next academic year. In this contract role, you’ll work full-time alongside dedicated teams to empower students with diverse communication needs, including those who are non-verbal. Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Hold a master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current state licensure and ASHA certification required (CCC-SLP)
  • Experience in school settings preferred, with comfort addressing a broad range of disabilities
  • Skilled in both individual and group therapy approaches
  • Compassionate communicator, able to engage students, families, and staff

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for K-8 students
  • Assess speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
  • Provide therapy tailored to varied needs, including augmentative and alternative communication
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers, special educators, and support staff
  • Document progress and adjust goals as needed to maximize student achievement
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on strategies for success
  • Consult with families and staff to reinforce strategies that advance communication skills
