Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current SLP state licensure
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility
- Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting is preferred
- Comfortable supporting K-8 students with diverse communication disorders
- Experience deploying augmentative or alternative communication (AAC) devices is a plus
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide direct, evidence-based services to students, including those who are non-verbal
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Document and track student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to a positive learning environment
