Make an impact supporting students with diverse needs by working as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a specialized educational setting near Norristown, PA. This contract opportunity involves providing speech and language services to a caseload of 30-35 students, ranging in age from 7 to 21. The focus is primarily on serving students with high-level autism, including many non-verbal individuals, across a single school site. The role will extend through the remainder of the current school year, continuing for the extended school year in July and August, and into the next academic year.

Key Requirements:

  • Active SLP-CCC certification and valid educator certificate
  • Demonstrated experience in school-based settings, especially with high-needs and non-verbal populations
  • Strong background in assessment, individualized therapy, and AAC implementation
  • Comfortable working independently without CFY or assistant supervision
  • Excellent collaboration, documentation, and communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and consultative speech and language therapy to students ages 7–21
  • Conduct evaluations and contribute to IEP development and ongoing progress reports
  • Develop and implement communication strategies, including augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), to support diverse learners
  • Collaborate with classroom staff and related service providers to promote student success
  • Maintain timely and compliant records in alignment with school requirements
