Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active state licensure and SLP-CCC or eligibility for CFY
- Minimum of one year’s experience in school or pediatric settings preferred
- Strong background working with augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices—AAC experience is a must
- Familiarity with IEP development, progress monitoring, and school-based therapy practices
- Compassionate communication style and strong collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and indirect therapy services to K-8 students across a single school site
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans addressing articulation, language, fluency, and AAC needs
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, and families to support educational goals
- Document progress, maintain accurate records, and contribute to IEP meetings for caseload of approximately 35-40 students
- Participate in team meetings, professional development, and consultation as needed
This contract opportunity is full-time, with a consistent Monday–Friday schedule (8:00 am to 3:30 pm). It’s an ideal setting for compassionate SLPs who thrive in supportive school environments and enjoy seeing the growth their work inspires.
