Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active state licensure and SLP-CCC or eligibility for CFY
  • Minimum of one year’s experience in school or pediatric settings preferred
  • Strong background working with augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices—AAC experience is a must
  • Familiarity with IEP development, progress monitoring, and school-based therapy practices
  • Compassionate communication style and strong collaboration skills with students, staff, and families

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and indirect therapy services to K-8 students across a single school site
  • Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans addressing articulation, language, fluency, and AAC needs
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, and families to support educational goals
  • Document progress, maintain accurate records, and contribute to IEP meetings for caseload of approximately 35-40 students
  • Participate in team meetings, professional development, and consultation as needed

This contract opportunity is full-time, with a consistent Monday–Friday schedule (8:00 am to 3:30 pm). It’s an ideal setting for compassionate SLPs who thrive in supportive school environments and enjoy seeing the growth their work inspires.
