Make a meaningful impact supporting K-8 students as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist. Two talented SLPs are needed to provide services at a single site serving approximately 35-40 children. The role offers the chance to deliver essential therapy and interventions, collaborating with educators and support staff in a dynamic educational setting.

Work a consistent Monday through Friday schedule from 8:00am to 3:30pm, totaling 35 hours per week. This is a contract position offering hands-on experience in a supportive school environment.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) eligibility
  • Prior experience—and comfort—with school-based SLP services, including assessments, direct therapy, and IEP participation
  • Strong background in pediatric speech-language pathology, preferably within an educational setting
  • Required experience with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices and strategies
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, administrators, and families
  • Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide therapy and evaluations for K-8 students with a variety of communication needs
  • Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals
  • Utilize AAC devices and support students in accessing augmentative communication systems
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services and progress
  • Offer consultation and training for staff and families on AAC use
  • Support a positive, inclusive environment where every student can thrive
