Qualifications & Experience:

  • Current Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) required
  • Valid educator certification to work in public schools
  • Previous experience in school-based settings or with K-8 student populations preferred
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Ability to adapt therapy strategies for diverse learning needs

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech and language disorders
  • Deliver direct and consultative SLP services, both individually and in group settings
  • Collaborate closely with special education staff, general educators, and families to create inclusive and effective learning environments
  • Monitor student progress, maintain all required documentation, and participate in eligibility meetings and IEP planning
  • Utilize evidence-based practices to help students achieve their communication and academic goals
