Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure, or eligibility to obtain it, for school-based practice
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, although CFY candidates are also welcome
- Previous experience working with K-12 students, including those in grades K-5, 6-8, and 9-12
- Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt therapy plans for various developmental stages and needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for students across all grade levels
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) in partnership with multidisciplinary teams
- Deliver evidence-based speech therapy services, both individually and in small group settings
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and staff to support student goals and progress
- Document student performance and maintain thorough records in compliance with school and state guidelines
