Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current state licensure, or eligibility to obtain it, for school-based practice
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, although CFY candidates are also welcome
  • Previous experience working with K-12 students, including those in grades K-5, 6-8, and 9-12
  • Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to adapt therapy plans for various developmental stages and needs

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for students across all grade levels
  • Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) in partnership with multidisciplinary teams
  • Deliver evidence-based speech therapy services, both individually and in small group settings
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and staff to support student goals and progress
  • Document student performance and maintain thorough records in compliance with school and state guidelines
