Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Active SLP license for the state or eligibility to obtain
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; new graduates with strong clinical skills considered
  • Previous experience in school-based settings highly valued
  • Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
  • Familiarity with IEP processes, progress monitoring, and documentation

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each student’s needs
  • Participate in IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings, providing professional input and recommendations
  • Conduct screenings and evaluations in accordance with district and state guidelines
  • Maintain thorough records for student progress and intervention outcomes
  • Collaborate with teachers and families to support student success in both general and special education settings
  • Deliver both individual and group therapy services as determined by student needs
