Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active SLP license for the state or eligibility to obtain
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; new graduates with strong clinical skills considered
- Previous experience in school-based settings highly valued
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
- Familiarity with IEP processes, progress monitoring, and documentation
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each student’s needs
- Participate in IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings, providing professional input and recommendations
- Conduct screenings and evaluations in accordance with district and state guidelines
- Maintain thorough records for student progress and intervention outcomes
- Collaborate with teachers and families to support student success in both general and special education settings
- Deliver both individual and group therapy services as determined by student needs
