Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) or eligibility
  • State licensure or eligibility for licensure in Illinois
  • Previous school-based SLP experience strongly preferred
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and teams

Core Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language therapy to students per IEP requirements
  • Assess, diagnose, and document student needs and progress
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to progress reporting
  • Foster an encouraging, inclusive learning environment
