Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid state license (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Experience working within K–12 school settings preferred
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and collaborative skills
- Proficiency in evaluating, diagnosing, and delivering therapy for a range of speech and language disorders
- Excellent organizational skills and adaptability
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify students’ speech and language needs
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student
- Provide engaging, evidence-based therapy sessions in individual and group settings
- Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Monitor, document, and report on student outcomes and intervention effectiveness
- Participate in IEP meetings, staff training, and ongoing professional development
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation in accordance with district and regulatory guidelines
