Speech Language Pathologist in North Charleston, SC

This full-time, 210-day contract assignment calls for a skilled SLP or SLP-CCC who is passionate about helping children succeed academically and socially. You’ll be an essential part of a multidisciplinary team, supporting students as they grow in communication and confidence.

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Active SLP license in South Carolina (or eligibility to obtain)
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred
• Experience working in school-based or pediatric SLP settings
• Strong collaboration and organizational skills
• Ability to design and implement individualized therapy plans

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide evaluations, direct intervention, and consultative services for students with speech, language, and communication disorders
• Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to support student IEP goals
• Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and compliance with school and state guidelines
• Participate in IEP meetings, team discussions, and professional development sessions
• Offer guidance to teachers and staff about incorporating communication strategies into the classroom
