Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid state SLP license (or eligibility to obtain prior to start)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
  • Previous school-based experience preferred, but new graduates with strong clinical backgrounds are encouraged
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and caregivers

Core Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and deliver individualized or group therapy for students with diverse speech and language needs
  • Develop and implement IEP goals in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams
  • Maintain thorough and timely documentation related to student progress and compliance
  • Engage with families and school staff to communicate progress and strategies for generalization
  • Participate in IEP meetings, eligibility determination, and staff consultations
  • Provide consultative support and recommendations for classroom accommodations
  • Foster a positive, encouraging environment to support students’ confidence and success
