Apply NowStep into a vibrant elementary school environment and support students as a Speech-Language Pathologist for a leave coverage opportunity. This contract role begins September 8, 2026, and runs through October 30, 2026, with the possibility of extension through December. You’ll be working full-time, Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 2:30 pm, providing vital speech and language services to young learners in a collaborative school community.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current state licensure as an SLP
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; CFY considered
- Previous experience providing speech/language services in a school setting, particularly at the elementary level
- Solid communication, time management, and documentation skills
- Ability to create engaging, individualized treatment plans
- Responsive to the needs of young children and their families
- Commitment to confidentiality and ethical practice
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver up to 40 therapy sessions per week, each 30 minutes, focused on speech, language, and communication goals
- Conduct assessments and develop tailored treatment plans
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, special educators, and support personnel
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and session notes
- Engage with parents and guardians on strategies to support students
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to IEP development as needed
- Support a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere
