School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | North Fort Myers, Florida

Make a meaningful impact in the school community by supporting students as a Speech Language Pathologist in the North Fort Myers area. This is a full-time, on-site contract opportunity for the 2026-2027 school year, with part-time scheduling options available. Multiple school sites are offering assignments across elementary, middle, and high school levels, allowing the potential to combine locations to build a full-time position.

Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech, language, or communication disorders
• Deliver direct therapy services in accordance with IEP goals
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary staff to optimize student outcomes
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expert recommendations
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with all district and legal requirements
• Support students across a range of ages, with caseloads varying by assigned campus

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology
• Valid Florida Department of Health SLP license and/or Florida teacher certification
• Experience in school-based settings strongly preferred
• Capacity to travel to multiple sites within the district if needed
• Ability to complete time-sensitive credentialing, including fingerprint clearance through the AHCA Clearinghouse and transferring or obtaining a JLA badge
