With full-time and part-time opportunities available across multiple sites, you’ll collaborate with educational teams to help students reach their speech and language goals in a dynamic school setting.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid Florida Department of Health SLP license and/or Florida teacher certification
- Previous experience as a school-based SLP preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work across multiple school sites as needed
- Completion of required fingerprinting and eligibility for a JLA badge (prior prints may be transferable via AHCA Clearinghouse)
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students’ speech and language abilities and develop individualized therapy plans
- Provide direct SLP services to assigned caseload—age group and size will vary based on location
- Document progress, monitor outcomes, and maintain compliant records
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to ensure holistic support for students
- Contribute to IEP meetings and assist in developing student goals
- Flexibly travel between assigned schools in the area, with options to combine sites for a full-time equivalency
