Key Qualifications:

  • Active SLP or SLPA license (applicable to state/Federal requirements)
  • Prior experience in a school environment preferred
  • Strong communication, organization, and time management abilities
  • Ability to develop rapport with students, staff, and families
  • Comfortable delivering both individual and group therapy sessions
  • Familiarity with IEP documentation and case management
  • Collaborative approach to working with multidisciplinary education teams

Core Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language therapy services to students in compliance with individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Administer assessments and interpret results to guide service delivery
  • Document student progress, maintain accurate records, and complete required paperwork
  • Participate in IEP meetings, offering input and recommendations as needed
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student learning and communication goals
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to remain current with best practices and policies
