Assignment Details:

  • Full-time position covering a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) maternity leave from August 12th to November 1st for the 2026/2027 academic year.
  • Serve a school population with complex needs, focusing on students with significant autism spectrum disorder and various other disabilities.
  • Collaborate with experienced educators and support teams dedicated to student success.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
  • Current SLP state licensure (or eligibility) for Connecticut.
  • ASHA CCC-SLP preferred, but strong CFs will be considered.
  • Previous school-based SLP experience and comfort working with neurodiverse populations, including ASD, highly desired.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess and provide speech-language therapy services to students with diverse needs.
  • Develop individualized plans in collaboration with teachers and families.
  • Keep comprehensive documentation and participate in IEP meetings.
  • Support inclusive education environments with evidence-based interventions.
