Make a difference in the lives of young learners by providing dedicated speech and language services for elementary-age students. This full-time contract opportunity spans two academic years, making it perfect for professionals seeking stability and the chance to build meaningful student relationships. Service will be provided across two school sites, working with students ranging from transitional kindergarten through sixth grade.

Your work will focus on mild articulation challenges, mild to moderate disabilities with language deficits, and supporting students with augmentative and alternative communication needs. The position runs ASAP through June 11, 2026, with a summer session available from June 17 to July 17, 2026, as well as the opportunity to return for the 2026-2027 school year beginning in August.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid California state SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
  • Experience in school settings, specifically with pediatric and elementary student populations
  • Expertise in working with mild articulation, language deficits, and AAC
  • Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to manage a diverse caseload and adapt services to individual student needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy to students with a broad range of communication needs
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and educational staff to ensure student progress
  • Maintain accurate records and progress notes in compliance with district standards
  • Participate in IEP meetings and student evaluations as required
