Elementary Licensed School Speech Language Pathologist - North Hollywood, CA

Make a meaningful impact supporting students’ communication needs across two welcoming schools in the North Hollywood area. This full-time contract opportunity provides a dynamic environment for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) who enjoys collaborating with diverse student populations from TK through 6th grade.

This role spans a broad spectrum of services, from working with students experiencing mild articulation concerns to those with mild-to-moderate disabilities and significant language challenges. You’ll also support some students with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) needs. With schedules split between two school sites (2 days at one school, 3 days at another), each week offers new opportunities to connect, assess, and make a difference.

Key Experience and Qualifications:

• Current, valid SLP licensure and certification required
• Experience in elementary and middle school settings preferred
• Skilled in addressing articulation, language deficits, and AAC implementation
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to manage caseload across two locations efficiently

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct speech-language services to students TK–6th grade
• Conduct assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
• Track and report student progress in compliance with state and district regulations
• Adapt therapy techniques to accommodate a range of abilities and needs

Assignment Details:

• School year (CSY/NSY) and extended summer (ESY) available
• Flexibility for candidates looking to work only through the end of the current year or into future terms
• Staff schedules run from 7:45 am–3:15 pm or 8:15 am–3:45 pm, depending on the site
• Immediate start date; potential to extend through summer and following school year
