School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | North Judson, Indiana

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or completion of CFY
• Active state licensure (or eligibility) in Speech-Language Pathology
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFY) encouraged to apply
• Will also consider enthusiastic Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPA) with appropriate credentials
• Prior school-based experience highly regarded
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, collaborating with educators, families, and support staff
• Commitment to evidence-based interventions and inclusive practices

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students in need
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans according to IEPs
• Provide direct and consultative services to students across grades, tailored to various needs
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to promote student achievement
• Maintain thorough documentation of services, progress notes, and compliance paperwork
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
• Advocate for best practices in communication supports within the classroom
