Desired qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field (for SLPs)
- Active or eligible for Indiana state licensure
- Previous school-based experience is preferred, but not required
- SLP-CCC, CFY, or SLPA credential accepted
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Comfortable working onsite, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
Key responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to K-12 students
- Conduct speech, language, and hearing screenings and assessments
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with staff and families
- Maintain detailed student records and progress notes
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational team discussions
- Offer consultation and support to teachers, parents, and staff on communication strategies
