Consideration will also be given to talented Speech-Language Pathologist Assistants (SLPAs) seeking a meaningful experience in schools.

Desired qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field (for SLPs)
  • Active or eligible for Indiana state licensure
  • Previous school-based experience is preferred, but not required
  • SLP-CCC, CFY, or SLPA credential accepted
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • Comfortable working onsite, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy to K-12 students
  • Conduct speech, language, and hearing screenings and assessments
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with staff and families
  • Maintain detailed student records and progress notes
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational team discussions
  • Offer consultation and support to teachers, parents, and staff on communication strategies
