Start making a difference as soon as possible, with a schedule of 10-15 hours per week through December 2026—potentially extending beyond as the needs evolve on this dynamic new campus. The caseload may adjust as the program grows, giving you variety and ongoing professional growth.
Ideal candidates will bring several of the following qualifications:
- Active Nevada SLP license
- Nevada Educator Certificate
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) or be eligible for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Experience working in pediatrics, healthcare or school-based speech therapy settings
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal abilities
- Flexible and adaptable approach to changing caseloads and environments
Your day-to-day responsibilities in this role will include:
- Conducting comprehensive speech and language assessments for students
- Developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Providing direct therapy services to students with diverse needs
- Collaborating closely with teachers, families, and school staff
- Maintaining thorough and timely student documentation in compliance with district guidelines
- Participating in IEP meetings and contributing to a positive, supportive school culture
