Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Current state license or eligibility to practice as an SLP in Nevada
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong CFY candidates welcome
  • Previous experience in a school setting strongly desired
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, voice, or fluency disorders
  • Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
  • Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports in line with school and legal guidelines
  • Communicate effectively with staff, parents, and caregivers regarding student progress
  • Participate in school-based meetings, professional development, and advocacy for student needs
