Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or active state licensure for SLPAs
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC), Clinical Fellowship (SLP-CFY), or eligibility for SLPA considered
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred but not required
- Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 60 students
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Compassionate, creative, and patient approach when working with children
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy to students according to their IEPs
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and maintain thorough documentation
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and educational staff to support student progress
- Support a range of student needs from mild to moderate communication challenges
- Meet required timelines for case management and report writing
- Participate in IEP meetings and team consultations as needed
This full-time role (40 hours per week) spans the school year, beginning on August 3, 2026, and concluding June 1, 2027. The position welcomes both licensed SLPs and SLPAs eager to work in a supportive, educational setting.
