Speech Language Pathologist in North Port, FL

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting student achievement as a Speech-Language Pathologist or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant. This position, located near North Port, FL, offers a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week and the chance to make a meaningful difference throughout the school year. You will collaborate with a dedicated multidisciplinary team and support a diverse caseload of approximately 60 students. The assignment runs from August 3, 2025, through June 1, 2026, offering a structured and impactful experience.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid state licensure as an SLP (CCC), SLP (CFY), or SLPA, with eligibility to work in a school setting
• Graduate degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field for SLP roles; associate or bachelor’s degree for SLPA roles
• Previous experience with school-aged children is highly valued
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, fostering effective collaboration with staff, students, and families
• Ability to manage and prioritize a caseload of approximately 60 students
• Familiarity with IEPs, goal setting, progress monitoring, and therapy documentation
