A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available at a school located in North Port, FL. This is a contract role requiring onsite presence to support students’ communication development and related needs. The ideal candidate will hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or be in their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) with prior school-based SLP experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to address student goals.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports.
- Participate in meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team efforts.
Qualifications:
- Valid SLP credentials: CCC or CFY preferred.
- Experience in school-based speech-language pathology settings.
- Strong knowledge of speech, language, and communication disorders in children.
- Ability to engage effectively with students, families, and school personnel.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
