Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited university
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility) for Speech-Language Pathology
- Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred
- Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with best practices in assessment and individualized education program (IEP) development
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with educators and families
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, contributing to student IEPs and progress reviews
- Document and report on student progress, maintaining compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Provide resources and strategies to teachers and parents to support student communication needs
- Engage in professional development and stay updated on current trends in speech-language pathology
