Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current licensure in Speech-Language Pathology
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience working with school-age children, including those with diverse communication needs
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt to various grade levels and caseloads
- Knowledge of IEP development and progress monitoring
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments to determine student needs
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on IEP goals
- Provide direct and consultative services to students in individual or group settings
- Collect data and document student progress accurately and timely
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student eligibility, planning, and review processes
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to promote effective communication strategies
- Remain current with best practices and requirements in school-based speech-language pathology
