Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current licensure in Speech-Language Pathology
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Experience working with school-age children, including those with diverse communication needs
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to adapt to various grade levels and caseloads
  • Knowledge of IEP development and progress monitoring

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language assessments to determine student needs
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on IEP goals
  • Provide direct and consultative services to students in individual or group settings
  • Collect data and document student progress accurately and timely
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student eligibility, planning, and review processes
  • Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to promote effective communication strategies
  • Remain current with best practices and requirements in school-based speech-language pathology
