School Speech Language Pathologist - North Tonawanda, New York

Embark on a rewarding contract position as a Speech-Language Pathologist supporting students in school environments near North Tonawanda, NY. We are seeking two enthusiastic clinicians for onsite opportunities that make a lasting impact.

Position 1: This full-time role is divided between a life skills high school setting (about 70% of your week) and a local non-public school (about 30%). You’ll conduct 7–8 thirty-minute therapy sessions daily, with a dedicated lunch and planning period included in your schedule. Hours are 7:30 am to 2:45 pm. The assignment runs from late October through the end of January 2027.

Position 2: This full-time placement is at a transit middle school, offering you the chance to deliver support in an engaging middle-level environment. You’ll similarly provide 7–8 thirty-minute therapy sessions per day, with scheduled lunch and planning time. Hours are 8:30 am to 3:30 pm, from early November until the end of January.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Valid SLP license in New York
• Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) in progress
• Previous school-based SLP experience is highly desirable
• Ability to manage a diverse adolescent caseload
• Effective communication and collaboration skills
• Strong organizational ability to handle split settings or varied schedules

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students
• Complete and maintain thorough documentation as required
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with educational teams
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on students’ needs
