This contract opportunity focuses on grades 5-7 at the middle school level, offering the chance to collaborate with a dedicated team while supporting students' communication and academic growth.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current or eligible for Speech-Language Pathology license (CCC or Clinical Fellowship Year accepted)
  • Experience or passion for working with middle school-aged students
  • School-based SLP experience strongly preferred
  • Ability to maintain accurate documentation and manage a dynamic caseload
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy to students in grades 5-7, individually or in groups
  • Assess, diagnose, and create customized treatment plans targeting each student’s communication needs
  • Maintain compliance with IEPs, state, and federal regulations
  • Work closely with teachers, staff, and families to support student goals and generalize skills across settings
  • Participate in IEP meetings, team collaborations, and ongoing professional development
  • Track student progress and adapt interventions as needed
  • Be open to working full-time or part-time (minimum 20 hours/week) to best support student needs

This position welcomes accomplished SLPs with the CCC credential, those in their Clinical Fellowship Year, or professionals seeking school-based assignments. The school is also open to considering SLPA applicants for future roles.
