School Speech Language Pathologist - Northfield, OH

Step into a rewarding contract role as a Speech-Language Pathologist, supporting elementary students during an 8-week leave assignment beginning mid-October. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a manageable caseload of approximately 35 children and make a positive impact on young learners’ communication skills.

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Hold the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
• Valid state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology (or eligibility to obtain)
• Experience with school-age children, particularly in an elementary school setting
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Ability to manage a diverse caseload and tailor interventions to individual student needs

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver assessment, diagnosis, and evidence-based intervention for students with speech, language, and communication needs
• Develop and implement individualized goals and therapy plans in accordance with each child’s IEP
• Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families to support students’ progress
• Maintain clear records of therapy sessions, evaluations, and student growth
• Contribute to IEP meetings and provide recommendations for classroom accommodations or modifications as needed
• Promote a positive, supportive environment that encourages students to participate and succeed

Assignment Details:

• 8-week leave coverage beginning mid-October
• Full-time, on-site position at an elementary school
• Manage a caseload of approximately 35 students
• Scheduled hours: 9:00am to 3:30pm, Monday through Friday
