Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Speech-Language Pathologist license (state requirements met)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience providing therapy in a school setting strongly preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to tailor interventions to meet diverse student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language services to students across a range of grade levels
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in partnership with educational teams and families
- Conduct assessments, document progress, and contribute to multidisciplinary meetings
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to support students’ communication goals within classroom settings
- Provide guidance and education to students, families, and colleagues regarding communication strategies
- Adapt evidence-based interventions to engage learners with various needs
- Ensure compliance with all documentation and school policies
