Step into a rewarding contract position for the 2026-2027 school year as a Speech-Language Pathologist supporting students from Pre-K through 8th grade. This opportunity is based near Norwalk, CT and offers the chance to work across one or two school sites, providing invaluable communication support to a diverse student population.

Ideal candidates will either hold current ASHA certification or be Clinical Fellows (CFs) ready to launch their SLP careers. The schedule is full-time, totaling 37.5 hours over a standard workweek, with no more than 7.5 hours required per day. This role is designed to give new grads the guidance they need, backed by strong professional support and a collaborative environment.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellow (CF) eligibility
  • Connecticut state licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • Ability to work with students ranging from Pre-K to 8th grade
  • Passion for fostering student growth and success

Responsibilities:

  • Assess student speech, language, and communication needs
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy programs
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Track progress and document therapy sessions
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student learning plans
  • Deliver support across one or two K-8 schools
