Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state licensure (or eligibility) as an SLP in Connecticut
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, CFY considered
- Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting strongly desired
- Familiarity with IEP development and implementation
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organization skills
- Passion for supporting children with diverse communication needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students
- Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor student progress
- Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings to create and update student IEPs
- Provide direct therapy, consultation, and support for students, families, and staff
- Maintain accurate documentation of all assessments and interventions
- Support students in developing essential communication and social skills for academic success
