Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active state licensure (or eligibility) as an SLP in Connecticut
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, CFY considered
  • Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting strongly desired
  • Familiarity with IEP development and implementation
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organization skills
  • Passion for supporting children with diverse communication needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor student progress
  • Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings to create and update student IEPs
  • Provide direct therapy, consultation, and support for students, families, and staff
  • Maintain accurate documentation of all assessments and interventions
  • Support students in developing essential communication and social skills for academic success
