School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Norwich, Connecticut

We're seeking an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide valuable services across a district near Norwich, CT. This full-time contract position runs from August 2026 through June 2027, working Monday through Friday for 35-37.5 hours weekly.

You'll serve a dynamic K-12 caseload, collaborating with educators and support staff to foster communication skills and overall student growth. Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• Valid SLP-CCC credentials
• Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (or eligibility to obtain)
• Previous experience working with school-aged children preferred
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Commitment to delivering high-quality services in a school-based setting

Primary Responsibilities:

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students K-12
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
• Provide direct therapy services and consult with teachers, parents, and staff
• Participate in IEP meetings and ongoing student progress reviews
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with district policies
• Engage in professional development and stay current with best practices in the field
