Make a difference supporting young learners in a welcoming school environment as a Speech-Language Pathologist. This contract position begins as soon as possible and runs until at least December, with the potential to continue through the entire school year. With one current opening, you'll enjoy a manageable caseload and a collaborative atmosphere.

You will work approximately 30 hours each week, Monday through Friday, starting between 8:30 and 9:00 am and wrapping up by 3:00 or 3:30 pm. The focus will be on serving up to 20 preschool-aged students, with occasional Birth to Three evaluations based on student needs and school programming.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Valid licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Experience in school-based settings and comfort working with preschoolers
  • Familiarity with both direct therapy and assessment, including Birth to Three evaluations
  • Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, families, and staff
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills
  • Compassion, patience, and a commitment to supporting early development

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized and group speech-language therapy services for preschool students
  • Conduct comprehensive Birth to Three evaluations as needed
  • Develop, implement, and update treatment plans and goals
  • Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with educators, support staff, and families
  • Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and comply with related legal and ethical standards
  • Provide resources and strategies to teachers and parents to foster student success
