A contract opportunity is available for an on-site SLP (Speech-Language Pathologist – Certificate of Clinical Competence required) to help meet the needs of students for the remainder of the school year. This full-time position offers more than 35 hours per week and provides the chance to work alongside a dedicated school-based team, directly supporting students and helping to ease the current SLP’s caseload.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
- Valid SLP License and active CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
- Prior experience working in a school-based setting strongly preferred
- Familiarity with IEP development, documentation, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to quickly adapt within a dynamic school environment and respond to changing student needs
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language assessments and direct therapy to students on-site
- Support and collaborate with the existing SLP, working closely to ensure continuity and quality of services
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, progress monitoring, and data collection
- Adapt therapy techniques based on individual student goals and evolving needs
- Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Communicate regularly with teachers, staff, and families to promote student progress
