Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current California SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
• Previous schools-based experience preferred
• Experience supervising SLPAs and providing guidance
• Proficiency in developing, implementing, and writing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Strong organizational skills and effective communication abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and tailored intervention for students with speech, language, and communication needs
• Craft and maintain comprehensive, compliant IEPs focused on student progress and individualized goals
• Supervise and mentor Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs), supporting their professional development and caseload management
• Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to ensure cohesive support
• Maintain thorough records and adhere to district and statewide guidelines
• Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and ongoing student review processes
