You’ll work with a manageable caseload of 51 students, collaborating alongside three speech paraprofessionals and one paperwork para.
Key Qualifications:
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) required
- Experience with pediatric or school-aged populations preferred
- Comfortable working on-site; teletherapy is not available for this position
- Familiarity with healthcare standards and best practices for school-based SLPs
- Ability to oversee, communicate, and collaborate with paraprofessional staff
- Recent CFs may apply if working under an approved external supervisor
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students as outlined in IEPs
- Assess, diagnose, and document speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Adapt interventions to each student’s needs, collaborating with other educators and support personnel
- Develop and maintain accurate, comprehensive documentation for compliance and progress monitoring
- Participate in IEP meetings and parent conferences as needed
- Support, guide, and offer professional insight to paraprofessional team members
