Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist supporting elementary students for the 2025-2026 academic year. This full-time position offers the chance to make a significant impact, delivering on-site services to a caseload of 30-35 students at a single school location.
In this role, you'll join a collaborative educational environment, working 37.5 hours per week to address a range of speech and language needs. This is an excellent setting for seasoned SLPs as well as recent graduates. Professionals with ASHA CCC or those completing their CFY are both encouraged to apply. You’ll utilize your expertise in pediatrics and school-based therapy, with the added benefit of engaging with supportive teams and professional growth opportunities.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Active State SLP License (required)
- State Teaching Certificate
- Current State Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Experience with pediatric and school-based caseloads preferred
- Familiarity with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Comfort with elementary age students
- SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY welcome; teletherapy experience a plus, but this position is fully on-site
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to elementary students
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Conduct evaluations, assessments, and progress reporting
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
This role offers a pay range between $40 and $55 per hour, commensurate with experience. Enjoy weekly direct deposit and eligibility for travel stipends if applicable.
