Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA, or eligibility for CFY supervision
- Previous experience in schools or pediatric settings preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Compassionate, student-focused approach
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders for K-12 students
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in line with IEP goals
- Track student progress, document outcomes, and prepare detailed reports
- Collaborate with special education staff, teachers, and families to ensure holistic student support
- Provide direct and consultative services in individual and group settings
- Attend IEP meetings and contribute expertise to student planning
