Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech Language Pathologist
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA, or eligibility for CFY supervision
  • Previous experience in schools or pediatric settings preferred
  • Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
  • Compassionate, student-focused approach

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders for K-12 students
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in line with IEP goals
  • Track student progress, document outcomes, and prepare detailed reports
  • Collaborate with special education staff, teachers, and families to ensure holistic student support
  • Provide direct and consultative services in individual and group settings
  • Attend IEP meetings and contribute expertise to student planning
