Step into a dynamic educational setting serving students from Pre-K through 12th grade, delivering speech-language services that make a difference every day. This full-time contract opportunity offers a set schedule from 8:15am to 3:30pm, Monday through Friday, providing 35 hours per week in a supportive and collaborative environment near Oak Forest, IL.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
  • Current state licensure to practice as an SLP
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for CFY will also be considered
  • Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assess students’ speech and language abilities using standardized tools and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Deliver direct and consultative therapy services to students across a diverse caseload, ranging from Pre-K to 12th grade
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, and families to support student progress and generalization of skills
  • Complete thorough and timely documentation, including evaluation reports, progress notes, and participation in IEP meetings
  • Support and mentor paraprofessionals or assistants as needed
  • Stay current with best practices in speech-language pathology and participate in professional development as required
