Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences
  • Licensed or eligible for licensure as an SLP in Illinois
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status considered
  • Experience in school-based settings, early childhood caseloads, or pediatrics preferred
  • Skilled in conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and delivering both individual and group therapy sessions
  • Comfortable with teletherapy platforms as well as in-person services
  • Strong communication and documentation abilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech, language, and communication therapy to early childhood students on a two-day-per-week basis
  • Collaborate seamlessly with an onsite SLP and educational staff to optimize student outcomes
  • Evaluate students’ speech and language development, generate reports, and create individualized treatment plans
  • Engage families and teachers in the therapy process, offering resources and strategies for ongoing support
  • Maintain professional and detailed records in compliance with school and state requirements
