Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Valid WA licensure (or eligibility for licensure in Washington State)
- Previous experience working within a K-12 school environment preferred
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills
- Ability to organize and manage a part-time school-based caseload (.4 FTE)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language services to K-12 students, including assessments, individualized therapy, and progress monitoring
- Develop, implement, and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain clear, accurate records and document student progress
- Consult with teachers, families, and other educational staff to support student success
- Participate in team meetings, professional development, and school activities as needed
- Stay current on best practices and updates in the field of speech-language pathology
