Step into a rewarding contract opportunity for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist in a vibrant educational setting near Oak Lawn, IL. This full-time, onsite position runs from August 19, 2026, through June 1, 2027, offering a chance to make a profound impact on students from ages 3 to 21. As a valued member of the special education team, you will provide direct, in-person therapy and collaborate closely with educators, families, and support staff to foster student growth and communication success.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Active Illinois Speech-Language Pathology license required
  • Professional Educator License (PEL) for Illinois is mandatory
  • Experience working with school-aged or pediatric populations preferred
  • Comfortable supporting diverse age groups, from preschool to transition-aged students
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • Energetic, adaptable, and team-oriented with a passion for student development

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver in-person speech and language services in accordance with IEP goals
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and related service providers
  • Maintain accurate student records and participate in IEP meetings
  • Provide guidance and resources to educators and families regarding speech and language needs
  • Adapt interventions to meet a wide spectrum of developmental stages and abilities
