A contract-to-hire opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) to support a K-8 school district in Oak Park, IL. This role involves providing essential speech and language services to students across elementary and middle school grade levels during the 2025-2026 academic year.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting speech and language assessments to identify students' needs
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans
- Collaborating with educators and parents to support student communication goals
- Maintaining detailed documentation and progress reports
- Participating in student meetings and professional development sessions as needed
Qualifications:
- Valid State licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Experience working with K-8 school-aged children in a school setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work 3-4 days per week, full school year commitment
