We are looking for an enthusiastic SLP with their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) to serve a diverse K-8th grade population for the upcoming 2025-2026 school year. This Contract To Hire opportunity offers you the perfect blend of flexibility and stability, working 3-4 days per week in a dynamic educational setting near Oak Park, IL.

What You Bring:

  • Active SLP license and ASHA CCC certification
  • Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
  • Strong ability to collaborate with teachers, families, and school teams
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • Passion for fostering student growth and supporting diverse learning needs

Your Role Will Include:

  • Assessing, diagnosing, and providing direct therapy services to K-8 students with varying speech and language needs
  • Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
  • Maintaining accurate and timely records in compliance with state and district guidelines
  • Consulting with classroom staff to support integration of communication strategies
  • Participating in team meetings and parent conferences as needed
  • Contributing to a positive and inclusive school environment
