Qualifications & Skills:
- Valid licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) required
- Experience in school-based settings preferred, but not mandatory
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
- Familiarity with evaluating and developing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) a plus
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy to students in accordance with IEP goals and district standards
- Conduct assessments to identify communication disorders and recommend interventions
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports for each student on your caseload
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and fellow school professionals for cohesive student support
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of educational plans
- Implement evidence-based therapeutic strategies tailored to the needs of each student
