Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active state licensure or eligibility to obtain it prior to the school year
- SLP-CCC preferred, but SLP-CFY candidates are encouraged to apply
- Experience with elementary-age children in a school setting is a plus
- Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess and evaluate students’ speech, language, and communication abilities using standardized tools and observations
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in alignment with student needs and educational objectives
- Deliver direct and consultative therapy services to students in individual and group settings
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support students’ progress
- Document interventions and maintain detailed records to track student growth and compliance
- Participate in IEP meetings and professional development activities as needed
- Educate caregivers and school staff on strategies to support students’ communication success
