This contract position offers the chance to work with a diverse caseload in a vibrant school environment. Whether you hold your Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) or are completing your Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY), your expertise will help students reach their communication goals.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Active state licensure or eligibility to obtain it prior to the school year
  • SLP-CCC preferred, but SLP-CFY candidates are encouraged to apply
  • Experience with elementary-age children in a school setting is a plus
  • Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assess and evaluate students’ speech, language, and communication abilities using standardized tools and observations
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in alignment with student needs and educational objectives
  • Deliver direct and consultative therapy services to students in individual and group settings
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support students’ progress
  • Document interventions and maintain detailed records to track student growth and compliance
  • Participate in IEP meetings and professional development activities as needed
  • Educate caregivers and school staff on strategies to support students’ communication success
