Speech Language Pathologist in Oakland, CA

Qualifications & Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders required
• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
• Valid California state licensure or eligibility
• Experience working with school-aged populations, particularly high school students
• Strong assessment, therapy planning, and documentation skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders for primarily 9th-grade students
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Monitor progress, document outcomes, and communicate effectively with families and staff
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers and support personnel
• Deliver engaging, evidence-based speech and language therapy within the school setting
• Manage a caseload of 35-45 students with varied needs
