Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Valid California state licensure for SLP.
  • Active Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
  • Previous experience working in a school or pediatric environment is preferred.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders for students.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs.
  • Conduct screenings and help determine students’ eligibility for speech services.
  • Maintain accurate records and prepare necessary documentation for IEP meetings.
  • Offer consultation to teachers and staff on effective strategies within the classroom setting.
  • Engage families, providing updates and strategies to support student progress at home.
  • Adhere to all federal, state, and local regulations regarding special education services.
