Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Active licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in California
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) required
  • Previous experience working with school-aged children preferred
  • Strong organizational, communication, and collaborative skills
  • Ability to develop and implement IEP goals effectively

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and screenings to identify students’ speech, language, and communication challenges
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and set achievable goals in collaboration with IEP teams
  • Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to students in individual or group settings
  • Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of progress and interventions
  • Participate in IEP meetings, providing expert input and recommendations
  • Collaborate regularly with teachers, families, and other school professionals to foster a supportive environment
  • Stay current with evidence-based practices and district guidelines
