An opportunity exists for a skilled professional to support students in a dynamic educational environment. This contract position involves working with a K-12 caseload, focusing on fostering communication and learning for a diverse group of 37-41 students.

Qualifications:

  • Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist with a Clinical Competence Certification (CCC)
  • Experience working in K-12 school settings
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Proficient in assessing and treating speech and language disorders
  • Commitment to collaborating with educational staff and families

Location: Oakland, CA

Responsibilities:

  • Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for students with speech and language disorders
  • Develop and maintain individualized education plans (IEPs) to address student needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to create a comprehensive support plan
  • Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
  • Maintain accurate documentation of services provided and student outcomes
  • Conduct group and individual therapy sessions to support diverse learning styles
